When comparing an online doctor in Singapore, a single price rarely answers the whole question. You might need only a conversation and advice, or you might also arrange medicine delivery. Those visits have different totals even when the doctor’s consultation fee is the same.

This guide uses teleconsult.sg’s published service charges so you can plan this visit. Compare the examples below with the options you expect to use, then check the current queue-page fee information before joining.

How much does a teleconsult.sg consultation cost?

The standard GP video consultation is S$15 nett. CHAS Blue cardholders can receive a clinic-funded S$5 reduction, making the consultation S$10 nett, by showing the card during the consultation. This is not a government CHAS subsidy or claim. The reduction cannot be applied after the consultation is completed and payment has been made.

The fee pays for a consultation. A DigiMC has no additional issuance charge when medically appropriate, but neither an MC nor a prescription is guaranteed. An optional basic memo or referral letter is listed separately at S$10; ask the team about the document you need.

Use the medication question to explain your needs

The medication question before joining helps the doctor prepare for the conversation. Tell the doctor what you already have and any concerns about costs or delivery. The selection does not commit the doctor to prescribing, or establish the price of a medicine.

If delivery is arranged, check the recipient, address and expected window. If you are unsure what a charge covers, ask for an explanation before paying. Clinical questions about the medicine and administrative questions about the courier may need different answers.

Separate payment from reimbursement

The care team sends a payment link after the consultation. Keep the receipt and any itemised medication charges. If you expect an employer or insurer to pay, check the clinic-panel rules and claim procedure beforehand rather than assuming that online care is included.

MOM distinguishes sick-leave recognition from fee reimbursement. Its guidance says employers’ statutory consultation-fee reimbursement obligation applies to qualifying MCs from public institutions or company-appointed clinics. An employer’s own benefits may go further. Confirm your entitlement with HR.

Resolve the unknowns that matter to your visit

A useful budget conversation is specific. Rather than asking only whether the service is cheap, explain whether you need delivery, have a CHAS Blue card or require a particular document. These details help the team explain the applicable charges.

If the doctor recommends a physical assessment or further tests, ask about the next provider and its charges. The examples above describe this video consultation and selected delivery arrangements; they do not price a later clinic visit.

  • Check the clinic is open when you can attend.
  • Confirm any additional document or delivery charge.
  • Keep the payment receipt for your records.
  • Ask which costs your employer or insurer will actually reimburse.
